Heads and
directs the work of the district Council of Deputies, ensures interaction with
the Kamenetsky district Executive Committee.
Questions:
Represents the Council in relations with other state bodies,
other state organizations and citizens.
Convenes
and conducts Council sessions, organizes work on their preparation, and
monitors the implementation of Council decisions.
Organizes the consideration of requests from Council
deputies, the work of the Council to consider appeals from citizens and legal
entities, and the implementation of administrative procedures.
Reports to
the Council on the state of affairs in the district and on other issues within
its competence, submits reports on its activities to the Council sessions as
necessary, but at least once a year, and informs citizens about the state of
affairs in the district.
Heads the
Presidium of the Council and organizes its work, submits reports on the activities
of the Presidium to the sessions of the Council.
Exercises other powers provided for by the Law of the
Republic of Belarus "On Local Government and Self-Government in the
Republic of Belarus" and other legislative acts.
