Kamenets district is one of the most picturesque places of Belarus with rich history and culture. It is famous for its beautiful landscapes, talented and hardworking people, the Tower of Kamenets. The history of Kamenets rooted into the remote past. In the district there are many monuments of culture, architecture, archeology and history. They constitute the part of historical and cultural heritage of Belarus. On its territory there is the State nature protection Establishment National Park «Belovezhskaya pushcha». It is the oldest forest reserve in Europe included in the List of World Heritage of Humanity. The residents of the district continue traditions of their ancestors preserving the identity of their land, multiplying good deeds. Due to their labor the towns and villages are modernized, the grain field gives a rich harvest, construction is being intensively performed, income in families is rising.
